The Álbum de guitarra galega: Nivel médio is the second volume of the series on Galician guitar and it is designed for students on intermediate level. This work is the result of an intense research on the Galician guitar music made by the Galician guitarist Isabel Rei Samartim, author of the PhD thesis La guitarra en Galicia.
This edition contains an anthology of guitar works recovered from various regional music collections (Fondo Valladares, Fondo del Museo de Pontevedra, Fondo Torres Adalid, Archivo Canuto Barea), from the family archive of the Galician composer and guitarist Miguel Varela Suárez and from the guitar method published by the Galician guitarist Julio Mirelis García.
